Purple Gradient with Stamping

Hi all,

Today's nail art is pretty simple and anyone can do it :)

Things Required:
A makeup sponge
Nail polishes (preferably 3): I chose 3 shades of purple
Konad Stamping Plate #m2
Konad White Special Polish
Glitter for decoration (if wanted)

First apply a base coat to protect the nails, I use Jordana Nail Strengthener as my base coat, and apply a coat of white nail polish (used Lakme Color Crush 08), let it dry. Then on a makeup sponge make 3 layers of the colors, starting from the dark shade of purple to the lighter and then the lightest. Sponge these over the nails and if required do a second sponging by reapplying the colors to the sponge.  Apply a fasting drying top coat (used Maybelline express finish top coat) to blend the colors well.  This is how the gradient looks like.

Now once it completely dries, stamp with the Konad stamping plate and polish.  Once done, apply small sequins with the help of the top coat on the 2 tiny flowers to decorate and finally apply a generous amount of top coat to make the design last longer.  This is how the final manicure looks like.

Xoxo

First Time Water Marbling

Hi all,

First time I tried to water marble my nails this Wednesday after seeing many inspiring videos...

First, I used a base coat by Jordana to protect my nails and then painted my nails with Maybelline Colorama Sexy which is a cute pink shade. Then I took 2 colours that is pink and sky blue (warning, not all colors work, you need to try out which ones spread out nicely in water) and put drop by drop into the water and finally made a design with the help of a toothpick and dipped my fingers into it. You can see the picture.

Though it is not perfect, but I felt happy that I tried to do something new. Will be better as I experiment more and more.
