Water Marbling !!

Water marbling is my current favorite technique and in a way when I started into nail art, I was always fascinated with how designs were made in water and the best part being that no two fingers were same like the usual art which we do. The uncertainty which water marbling provides and when I see the result, they are just superb. :)

Today, I used just two colors for the marbling.  One being a light blue shade from Coloressence and the other shade is from Maybelline Colorama Noite De Gala (a deep purple).

First, I painted my nails with a base coat (jordana) and then painted it with the light blue color and then did the marbling.

This is the base coat of light blue...

Now the results of water marbling:

Reverse Gradient Nail Art !!

Hi guys,

I missed posting this Sunday as that is the day I have chosen for blog post. Anyway, finally I did the mani and decided to upload it for you.

I had seen a tutorial of mysimplelittlepleasures where she had done a reverse gradient with purple shades but i chose to do with MASH neon scented polishes of Cherry, Orange, and Yellow.

First I did was create a gradient with cherry, orange, and yellow after painting my nails with a coat of white polish. Once it dried, to give it a smooth finish I applied top coat and then with striping tape created 4 vertical lines in each nail and then did the gradient in the reverse order that is yellow, orange, and cherry and then sealed the design with top coat.

Here is the final result:

Then I decided to add some rhinestones and here is how it looks :)

Do comment and let me know which is better the one with rhinestones or without :)

Henna Inspired Nail Art

Hello guys,

I have been super busy but managed to take out some time to do a new mani, that is the ultimate stressbuster and it surely works.

This time i chose to do a henna inspired nail art which i had seen somewhere, not able to recall, so thought let me do a version of mine as well.

I used a base coat, then applied MASH banana yellow as the base color and then with a black nail art pen drew the designs free hand.

Here are how they look like, though not that great, but still I liked it enough to post in the blog.

Do let me know how you liked this design.

MASH Scented Neon Nail Polish Review and Swatches !!!

Hey guys,

I got my parcel from mashnails containing my most awaited neon nail polishes.  They arrived safely though the yellow one had spilled a bit due to the distance it had to travel.  It came in a neat plastic packing showing the all 6 colors.

Each color has its unique smell, that really surprised me. I had expected some sort of scent in them. Never thought all would have a smell which is almost same to the color.

There are 6 colors of 5 mL each:

1. Blue

2. Orange

3. Strawberry Pink

4. Cherry

5. Light Green.

6. Banana Yellow

Here are my swatches of each color:

                                                                           BLUE:

ORANGE:

                                                                  STRAWBERRY PINK:

                                                                 CHERRY RED:

                                                                LIGHT GREEN:

                                                                BANANA YELLOW:

They are highly pigmented and requires 2 coats to get the actual bottle color. Overall, I am happy with the way the colors are showing on my nails.

My recent purchase from buyincoins !!

Hey all,

Today received on my mail post, a parcel that I ordered from buyincoins.  Have been seeing numerous mani which used the striping tape, love them. Made up my mind that I need to have those for my upcoming mani.  Found that in buyincoins it was really cheaper than the other online stores. I got a pack of 10 different colors of striping tape (it has adhesive already), so will be less messy. :)  Here is how it looks like:

Next, I purchased a set of dotting tool which had 5 of them having 10 different sized dots to create, though I had a set of 2 earlier but felt those were not enough ;) ...yuhuu...:) That also costed me pretty less ordering online from buyincoins than purchasing from a store out here in India (very expensive and difficult to get).

Here is the much-awaited new dotting tool set:

Also bought was a plastic box with 10 compartments to hold my falling rhinestones of various colors, costed me about 1$. Take a look:

Hoping to create some exciting mani's in the upcoming weeks. :)
